Nick Huang
Nick Huang is an assistant professor at the National University of Singapore. He obtained his PhD from the University of Maryland and did postdoctoral research at the University of Connecticut before joining NUS. He is interested in language processing and syntax, and the roles of linguistic experience and cognitive biases in explaining how we learn and use the rules of our native languages. He has worked on issues such as locality phenomena, attitude verbs, and clausal-embedding, often taking a cross-linguistic and experimental perspective.
