Magdalena Lohninger

is a PhD student at the University of Vienna, working in the field of theoretical linguistics. She focuses mainly on syntax with occasional sidesteps to the syntax-semantics interface. At the moment, her main interest is the CP-domain from a generative typological perspective, focusing primarily on multiple WH-constructions, cross-clausal A-dependencies and composite A'/A-probes as well as typological hierarchies of different kinds within the extended left periphery. Her thesis is supervised by Susi Wurmbrand and currently, they also work (together with Iva Kovač) on an FWF project on complement clause hierarchies.
