Alla Gutnikova
Alla Gutnikova is an activist, researcher and poet. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Studies from HSE University in Moscow and is about to start her master's in Contemporary Literature, Culture and Theory at King's College London. She is also an ex-political prisoner (the case of DOXA). Her final court statement is translated to 11 languages and can be found in n+1, Modern Poetry in Translation, Ostjournal, Le Média, and elsewhere. Her literary works in Russian appeared in F Letter, Greza, Polutona, Flagi, Articulation, and DOXA. She was part of Exile Promenade show at Performing Exiles Festival at Berliner Festspiele in 2023. Her debut poetry book in Russian, А fish called Rivka, was published by Babel Tel-Aviv in 2023. Her first solo exhibition, freedom is a verb, was held at colorado projects, Galerie Jochen Hempel.
