Gary Marker
is Professor of History at Stony Brook University. His interests include Russian History (seventeenth century to the present), cultural history, history of printing and reading. He is the author of
Days of A Russian Noblewoman: The Memories of Anna Labzina (2001) and numerous edited volumes and scholarly articles. He holds a PhD History from the University of California at Berkeley.
