Tori Omega Arthur

is an Assistant Professor of Journalism and Media Communication at Colorado State University - Fort Collins. Her research aadresses the intersections of media, race, gender, sexuality, (im)migration, and cultural tourism; social media-based televisuals; the histories and formations of digital diasporas; and, digital/social media representations of the transnational mobilities of Black people, particularly Black LGBTQIA and womxn mobilities. She teaches courses in media history, media and migration, multiculturalism in media, and public communication technologies. She holds a Ph.D. in American Culture Studies from Bowling Green State University.
