Seunghun Lee

Seunghun J. Lee, Ph.D., is a Senior Associate Professor of Linguistics at the International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan. He received his Ph.D. from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, and he previously taught at Central Connecticut State University. He also completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for General Linguistics in Berlin, Germany. His research interests are in prosody-syntax interface and phonetics-phonology interface in Bantu languages and Tibeto-Burman languages. He closely works with colleagues in Thohoyandou (South Africa), Gangtok (India) among others. He is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Venda (South Africa) and IIT Guwahati (India). He also holds visiting professor positions at Seoul National University (Korea) and Goethe University Frankfurt (Germany).
