Shanti Ulfsbjorninn
Shanti Ulfsbjorninn is an Assistant Professor at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Before this, they were a Lecturer in Linguistics at the University of Deusto in Bilbao, and a Marie Curie Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Lyon. Their work has mostly focused on the interplay of syllabic and metrical structure and contributions toward a modular, autosegmental framework of morpho-phonology (especially item-specific phonology and allomorphy). Recently, they have been exploring the use of technology to carry out long-distance linguistic fieldwork on endangered and minoritised languages. They are also a co-editor of
Radical: A Journal of Phonology.
