Hadil Karawani is a Linguist interested in semantics, pragmatics, and philosophy of language, in particular presuppositions (what is taken for granted when something is said) and implicatures (what can be taken to be meant but not straightforwardly said), as well as speech acts (especially how intention and interpretation interact with power relations) in the public sphere.
