Nicole Calma-Roddin
is an Assistant Professor in the Behavioral Sciences department at New York Institute of Technology. In general, her research focuses on the areas of language processing and music cognition in situations when the brain must integrate incoming information with a context or previously learned information. She received her Ph.D. in Cognitive Science with a certificate in Cognitive Neuroscience (2019) and her B.A. in Linguistics with a minor in Music (2011) at Stony Brook University. She also holds a Professional Certificate in Ear Training and Harmony from Berklee College of Music Online.
