Marcel den Dikken

ELTE & Hungarian Research Centre for Linguistics
holds a dual appointment at Eötvös Loránd University and the Hungarian Research Centre for Linguistics in Budapest. He is the editor of The Cambridge Handbook of Generative Syntax (2013), the author of Particles (1995), The structure of the noun phrase in Rotuman (2003), Relators and linkers (2006), and Dependency and directionality (2018), and co-author of Syntax of Dutch: Nouns and noun phrases (Vol. 2; 2012). He has published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes and encyclopedias, and is the (co-)editor of several volumes and special issues of journals. His research covers a wide variety of aspects of syntax and its interfaces with morphology and semantics.
