Steven Mithen
Steven Mithen is Professor of Early Prehistory at the University of Reading. He has long term field projects in southern Jordan and western Scotland, and research interests on human evolution and the Neolithic transition to farming economies. Steven is particularly interested in the evolution of human creativity, music and language. His recent books include, Land of the Illich (2021) and The Language Puzzle (2024).
