Eva Zimmermann
Eva Zimmermann received her PhD in 2014 from Leipzig University. Currently, she is an Emmy Noether Research Group leader at Leipzig University. Her main research interest is the phonology-morphology interface and hence phenomena like non-concatenative morphology and lexical exceptions to phonological processes. Much of her work focusses on supra-segmental processes involving tone, length, reduplication, or template effects. One recurrent theoretical assumption in her recent work Gradient Symbolic Representations and hence the idea that all linguistic elements have gradient activity levels.
