Liuba Zakharova Hamburg

Lüba is a feminist and queer activist, part of the Feminist Anti-War Resistance (FAR). As a member of FAR: Decolonial Chapter, Lüba participates in projects dedicated to promoting the voices of decolonial movements. In the charity "Friends of Mariupol", a volunteer organisation in Estonia that helps Ukrainians affected by the war to get to safety, he is responsible for chat operators. At the NYI Global Institute, he organises lectures on feminist and ecological activism and the fight against patriarchal propaganda. As an economist and data analyst, he participates in research projects analysing the post-invasion situation (Hannah Arendt Research Center and others) and other data-driven independent research. Lüba also participates in independent projects highlighting feminist, decolonial and queer perspectives.
