Daniel Heinz Freie Universität Berlin

Daniel Heinz is an academic activist located working in Germany. He studied political sciences and sociology at Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen (Germany), Freie Universität Berlin (Germany), University of the West Indies St. Augustine (Trinidad & Tobago), North-West-University Potchefstroom (South Africa), and National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine). As a post-soviet migrant with history in Ukraine and Kazakhstan, Daniel's academic and activist work intersect on the topics of russian Imperialism, migrant empowerment, and building alliances. In Berlin, Daniel has organized and lead multiple community events for migrants of different backgrounds to come together and fight inequality using digital methods of campaigning and organizing.
