This class builds upon the foundation laid in the Introduction to Semantics course. We will delve into expanding the formalism to cover new empirical areas, including the semantics of propositional attitude reports, de re and de dicto readings, the fundamentals of tense semantics, modals and conditionals, negative polarity items (NPIs), implicatures, and exhaustivity (Exh).
